President and Parent Member
Tom has 17 years of strategic planning, organizational change management and process improvement experience. He is the Director of Operations at White Oak Conservation, which conserves and sustains some of the world's rarest animals. At his previous role at Life & Specialty Ventures (LSV), Tom was instrumental in building out a new strategy management function as well as an enabling governance structure.
Tom has a BA in German Language from the University of Georgia at Athens. He is a certified PMP and Six Sigma Black Belt. He is actively involved in the Association for Strategic Planners, Project Management Institute, and the Society of Workforce Planning Professionals. He lives on Amelia Island with his wife Kate and son Campbell, a Lower Elementary student.
John M. Drew

John has been a sovereign elected Constitutional Officer of the State of Florida, employed as the Nassau County Tax Collector since 2006. Previous work experience includes Vice President of Reynolds Financial Services and Regional Vice-President of Housing Mortgage Corporation. John has also worked as the Director of Human Resources, Nassau County Clerk of Courts Office and as the Campaign Manager for Aaron Bean.
John is affiliated with numerous community organizations and has held office in many of those organizations. He served as President of the Florida Tax Collectors Association, Inc., The Nassau County Volunteer Center, and the Nassau Friends of Scouting. He has also been an officer in other organizations such as the Optimist Club, Micah's Place, The AIFBY Chamber of Commerce, The Fernandina Beach Shrine Club, and a Board Member for a host of other Community Organizations. He is the only Honorary Member of both the International Association of Firefighters and of the Fraternal Order of Police in Nassau County.
John is an AIMS alumnus, as is his wife, Catherine. They currently have a three-year old son, Joseph, who attends AIMS.
Ron is an Executive Wealth Manager at Davis Capital Management – Providing investment portfolio management, comprehensive financial planning, and related consulting services for individuals, families, and small business owners in Northeast Florida. He holds an Undergraduate Bachelor of Science Degree in Geography from Florida State University, and His Post Baccalaureate Degree is a Master of Business Administration from the University of North Florida.

Ron is also a very active member in our community by serving as a board member of the Rotary Club of Fernandina Beach, Chamber of Commerce, Financial Planning Association of Northeast Florida. He is also an avid scuba diver and fisherman.
Ron enjoys spending time at the beach and around the Island with his wife, Raegan, who is an Amelia Island Montessori Alum – and his two children, Jack and Kate, both students at AIMS.
Sean McGill was raised in a small city in central Ohio, and then Atlanta, Georgia; where he attended parochial schools. In 1995, he earned a bachelor's degree from Hawaii Pacific University in math & science. Sean also has extensive training from the Professional Association of Dive Instructors (PADI) having earned its highest "Course Director" rating.
In 2001, Sean moved to Florida, where he assumed management of McGill Aviation's fixed based operation (FBO) at the Fernandina Beach Municipal Airport. In 2003, Sean became Vice President of McGill Aviation. Sean became McGill Aviation's president in the summer of 2007.
Sean married his wife, Tifini, in 2008. Sean also enjoys training and competing in triathlons, having completed 10 Ironman races.
Gayle Davis, non-voting member
Retired Montessori Toddler Directress
Ms. Gayle is a retired Amelia Island Montessori School Directress and is currently serving as a substitute teacher for all programs. She offers support in various manners such as connections to the school's alumni, helping teachers as requested and helping with events, . With Early Childhood and Infant/Toddler Montessori Credentials, she lends her expertise in many situations.
Ms. Gayle enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She loves to cook, sew and garden. She also enjoys volunteering with numerous community events and attending and supporting many community organizations. She has been married to her husband, Troy, for over 30 years, has three grown children and four grandchildren.
Dr. Kevin Lin received his doctor of chiropractic degree from Life University in Atlanta, Ga. He received his undergraduate degree from Rollins College in Winter Park, FL where he received a Bachelor of Art in History and Pre-Med. In addition, Dr. Lin has 5 years of training in Neural Restoration Chiropractic through the Knee Chest Upper Cervical Protocol. He is currently an active instructor with the KCUCS program and has led 3 mission trips the past three years to Guatemala and the Dominican Republic.
Kevin is married with two beautiful daughters and when he is not in the office he spends his time building sandcastles and looking for shark’s teeth at the beach with his family.
Martha McDowell taught at the Rudolf Steiner School of Ann Arbor (aka 'Waldorf' school) beginning in 1989, first as After-Care Director and as the first grade teaching assistant then took a full-time Class Teaching position, picking up the first of 3 classes in 1992. Martha was a member of the RSSAA Board for many years, was faculty chair 1995-1998, and throughout her 24 years served on the pedagogical committees, faculty development, finance, the College, and was very active with parent & teacher education.
In RSS Ann Arbor, a teacher run school, mandate committees, steered by the pedagogical group called the College of Teachers, carried out the work of the school with the support of Board, Administrators & parents in the community.
Retired from RSSAA in 2012, Martha moved to Amelia to be with her family, help to raise her 2 grandchildren.
Carl Bazarian, Jr.
Carl Bazarian, Jr. is Vice President of Bazarian International Financial Associates, LLC. (Bazarian International). At Bazarian International, Mr. Bazarian is responsible for project analysis, placing debt and equity, and advising clients in contract negotiations related to hotels, real estate, infrastructure, and other commercial projects in emerging market countries.
Prior to Bazarian International, Mr. Bazarian was employed at East-West Financial Services, Ltd., in Washington, D.C., where he worked as a financial analyst. Previously, Mr. Bazarian was employed as an Account Analyst at Cofibal Compañia Financiera, S.A., a micro-lender for the Argentine agricultural sector located in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Mr. Bazarian holds a B.A. in International Studies from The School of International Service, American University, Washington, D.C., where he focused on economics and international relations.
Mr. Bazarian lives on Amelia Island with his wife Melissa, two sons Alexander and Nicholas (both students at AIMS), and two dogs.
Mary is the General Manager of The Omni Amelia Island Plantation, Fernandina Beach. She supervises and participates in the operations of the 404-room luxury oceanfront resort. A hotel management graduate of Purdue University in Lafayette, Ind., O’Donnell began working in catering sales with Hyatt Hotels & Resorts. She continually implemented improvements within internal operations and redesign for multiple Hyatt locations. With more than 25 years of hotel management and conference services experience, O’Donnell brings business and event planning expertise to the Board of Trustees and assists with many functions of the Board.
